Celebration of Life for John Easton

Gathering starts about 11:00 AM — come early to socialize, nosh on pastries and beverages, and relax.
Ceremony starts about 1:00 PM — details to be announced.
Post-ceremony — for those wishing to eat, we will order food from a few local restaurants. Until the food arrives, you can socialize or explore the park.

Where

Minnehaha Regional Park in Minneapolis, at the Wabun Picnic Area, Shelter C. See Maps and Directions for Drivers and Transit Riders.

The shelter geo-coordinates are 44°54'54.8"N 93°12'14.0"W

There is plenty of space for bikes near and around the shelter.

If you are driving, parking can fill up so try to arrive well before 1:00 PM, as early as 11:00 AM.

Restrooms and a children's play area are very close by the shelter.

All seating in the shelter is at picnic tables, with no back support. If you need extra support to sit comfortably, please plan to bring a cushion or a portable chair.

There are many nearby attractions including scenic walking and biking trails, ranging from easy to invigorating.

The Ceremony will stream on Zoom at 1:00pm for those who cannot attend in person.

Who

Friends (old or new), family, and caregivers of John Easton and Jim Miner are invited to attend.

Casual, comfortable attire.
