I am grateful to many people, living and passed, for the help I have received since John died, and notably while working on this celebration. I am truly fortunate!

This region is traditional homeland of our relatives the Dakota people. We must care for it while we are here, to honor our ancestors and for the good of future generations.
Several friends have offered tangible assistance, easing my mind and my task load:
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board along with Minneapolis visionaries over the decades built and continue to sustain our urban park system, said to be among the best in the nation.
Many people reached out to me after John died. Their stories, their quiet and firm support, and their actions assisted me in my grief and struggle to find my new life.
Tom Cook, a friend of John's, offered to create an urn for John's remains. He has gone above and beyond to adapt to design suggestions. When the urn is ready, photos will be placed in the remembrances section of this website (currently under construction). Tom also has periodic sales of his creations, some of which John and I purchased and have used frequently for years. Thanks, Tom!
Many younger people of all ages I already knew or I've come to know, give me hope for the future.
Dandy, Lee and Cheryl's dog, has helped to get me out for walks and the occasional tussle. What a good dog!
